LA Kitchen is a nonprofit organization that liberates underprivileged communites by teaching them how to cook fresh meals using rejected, landfill-bound ingredients.

This identity’s custom typeface embraces the potential in imperfect foods and imperfect people. This identity system is approachable, colorful and fun, the way being in the kitchen should be.

INSECTS & NATURAL PATTERNS:
A BLUEPRINT FOR HUMAN DESIGN

This publication focuses on insects, the natural patterns they create and how much we can learn from them. The book is typeset in a way that imagines bugs are eating away at the contents, forming trails and tunnels through the text. The folios break the system at times, landing somewehre on the page like a fly. Each cover is a one-off cyanotype print. 





BREAKUP SECRETS EVENT CONCEPT

For a week in December, the Whispering Gallery is a space to share your breakup secrets so you may begin, continue, or finish healing your heartbreak.

We live private lives and share personal stories via our phones more often than face to face, so join us in listening to others’ journeys of hurt and loss or participate by whispering your story to our text bot. Audio messages are translated into wall displays so you can watch stories travel around the room and read published secret stories on the Secret Notes app.

Tinder Biographies is a collection of bios from online dating profiles found in LA. Tinder bios are spaces for self expression and self advertising, using charm, humor, seduction, and vulnerability to gain someone's interest. They show a side of human behavior often overlooked for its superficiality, but it's their ability to make us laugh, cringe, groan, and relate that makes them a unique writing form worth our attention. Tinder Biographies allows its reader to acknowledge the strange humanity hidden within the way we express and advertise ourselves online.

An annual, week-long design workshop at the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.

Nabo Ja Tak (en: Neighbor, Yes Please) is a social campaign that brings the residents of KAB Lundoftegade together. Residents place a sticker on their door to get to know their fellow neighbors, a nonobstrusive way to bring a divided community together. Before KAB Lundoftegade can be a space for the public, it must foster the community currently there.
